Flying Heroes

The Flying Heroes have been stalwart harbingers of Britrock for more years than founder member Seags would care to admit and are currently on line-up number eight.

The band are: Seags, guitar/vocals...Frankie Smith (18), bass/vocals...Amy Byford-Smith (26), drums/vocals and Hazel Omahony (16), vocals/guitar/harmonica. Former Heroes members play/have played with Fish (Marillion), the Revillos, Tenpole Tudor, Martin Newell, Steve Linton Band, British Lion, Dirty Deeds and more.

Gauge

Made up of Ant on vocals, Stu on guitar, Mark on Bass and Chris on drums, the band has a unique and diverse sound that is reminiscent of the Seattle grunge of the early nineties but in no way derivative.

Gauge have been busy gigging in and around the Midlands with an ever enthusiastic following. With an unbelievably catchy set of songs, Gauge are already making waves.

The Voyeurs

First the Kaiser Chiefs resurrected Brit pop and The Cribs tore rock a new arsehole - now we see the 'seedier' side to the vibrant Leeds scene - introducing The Voyeurs. If I'm Right is a track utterly befitting their name - darkly-charming pop that sounds like New Order after a sleaze-rock makeover!

From The Ashes

From The Ashes meld a deep fusion of metal roots and a swirling cacophony of jagged edged melodic riffs. They say they are here to “inject some life back into your stereo and revitalize venues in need of musical refreshment”.

The band are currently gigging incessantly around the country and recently headlined three consecutive nights at top Coventry venue The Jailhouse.

Spud is an internet based songwriter from Manchester UK, putting songs together that will eventually go live, building interest online to reach an international audience that a Ford transit can't reach.

hAND

Formed in Autumn 2003, pianist, bassist, and vocalist Kat Ward (19) got together with guitarist, and drum programmer Kieren Johnstone (19) and formed hAND (harmonic Assessment of Negative Dialogue). Striving to be as original as they could be the band are constantly working on new material and pursuing the perfect live sound.
